Kihei Offers The Best of The Best
By Caitlin Moore

Many people, locals and visitors alike, consider Maui to be the shining star among Hawaii’s stellar lineup of delightful vacation-worthy islands. It has everything from rain forests to white sandy beaches, and enough activities to keep you going morning, noon and night. If you’re planning to kiss the mainland goodbye and embrace island life for a while, consider not only coming to Maui, but to its attractive southern shore. Kihei offers the best of the best, and you’d be wise to set its swath of stunning shoreline in your sights.

Kihei definitely qualifies as a relaxed town, and will have you feeling lighter and happier within minutes of your arrival. The spring in your step can probably be attributed to the gorgeous scenery and fresh ocean breeze, and believe that there’s more where that came from. Once you’ve settled into your amazing accommodations (more on that later) you’ll step outside to a whole new world, a world where stress, anxiety and tension just don’t fit into the picture.

There are diversions everywhere you turn in Maui; for example while you’re here you’ll have the opportunity to explore Haleakala National Park. If you’re feeling up to it, hike the trail that leads you around the dormant volcano, taking in the lunar-like landscape. Head to more lush terrain by engaging in a coastline horseback ride, or explore the rainforests by foot to sample all the spectacular flora and fauna.
